Clete Welch Elementary
This will be the district’s 19th elementary school campus serving grades PreK-5.
The location is slated for the northern part of the district that is experiencing high growth currently and projected into the future.
The design will be similar to that of Hatley Elementary School, which opened in August 2023.
Pogue has mobilized onsite, and site grading activities are in progress.
The District is scheduled to request contract consideration at the March Board Meeting. Pending permit issuance, construction is anticipated to begin in April.

The district's prototype design maximizes the flexibility of the learning environment to react to different site constraints effectively.
Project Goals
Students can access playgrounds without crossing drives.
A geothermal mechanical system is designed for this campus.
Drives are designed to separate student, parent drop-off, visitor and bus circulation.
Two additional special education classrooms are added to the program.
The District is working with VLK to finalize the construction documents.
Design changes and site overview will be presented next month.
